‘Tightly wound’: This is how a child’s anus is made from an iPhone app
A Texas man who used his iPhone to make an anus out of a toilet seat has been sentenced to more than 20 years in prison for the crime.
Joshua C. Lee, 38, pleaded guilty to felony child pornography and was sentenced to 25 years in state prison.
He was also ordered to register as a sex offender and undergo treatment for the disorder.
The iPhone, which was installed on the child’s toilet seat, was part of a photo album called “Showering a Shower,” which depicts Lee using the toilet to masturbate.
“The phone is used for photography and was being used to photograph children as they shower and to record and store images,” Judge Joseph S. Johnson told Lee.
“The images were later shared on the Internet by Mr. Lee.
The images and videos are being stored on a computer and shared with others through social media.”
The judge also sentenced Lee to a lifetime of supervised release with no jail time, and ordered Lee to undergo therapy for the condition.
The case came to light after the Dallas Morning News discovered the photo album, which Lee said he had installed in his toilet to “share with friends,” was not installed properly.
It was sent to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, which found that the iPhone was “in fact a child porn camera,” according to a statement from the center.
Lee said he did not know that his iPhone was being recorded, according to the statement.
