How to get a $100,000+ pay rise from an Australian employer
An Australian company is using the same strategy as a number of other companies to increase the pay of their employees.
As part of a new “workfare” scheme, the company is offering up to $100k in pay and incentives to anyone who has completed a 10-week course in the first year of the program.
The training, which was developed in partnership with the Australian College of Nurse Practitioners (ACNP), has been available in Sydney since last September.

It said the company had also been able to increase employment numbers and retention rates, because the program provided them with valuable training.
The pay is not just based on training, but also on career advancement.
Workfare is also offered to anyone with a disability who wants to work full-time for the employer.
